Though there is no shortcut to burning belly fat instantly but we will discuss here some tips, exercises, and home remedies to burn belly fat. 

Causes of belly fat


The main cause of excess belly fat is our lifestyle and input-output imbalance. In plain language, if we eat more and work less, the excess calories and fat are stored in our body around the waist and stomach, because that area is the most vulnerable and nearest to the food source.

The other factors may be environmental factors, genetics, lack of sleep, consumption of excess alcohol, stress, smoking, sugary foods, and poor diet.

Every 3500 excess calories increase your body fat by one pound. So, to burn every pound of fat, you have to cut down or burn 3500 calories.

People say that reducing only the belly area is not possible until you reduce your whole body weight. This is partially true. You can burn belly fat by mainly targeting that area and doing workouts affecting that area.

Home remedy to burn belly fat




  •  Mix one tablespoon of Cumin powder in one cup of water at night.
  • In the morning boil it and let it cool.
  • Filter and add to it two spoons of Honey.
  • Also add the juice of one or half lemon and stir thoroughly.
  • Drink it on empty stomach.
  • Repeat this process for four weeks.

Cumin is one of the main spices used in kitchens in India and worldwide. Its flavor is warm and earthy. It is also known for its medicinal properties. 

Cumin is rich in phytosterols, plant chemicals that are known for inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol in the body.

In addition to having weight-loss benefits, it has many other health benefits. It helps improve digestion by activating digestive enzymes in your gut.

Daily exercises to burn belly fat and strengthen abdominal muscles at home





  • Always warm up your body before starting any exercise and avoid giving more gaps between two rounds.
  • Twist Crunches: Lie on your back as shown in the image in the above video. Lift your right shoulder and twist to left. Stay for 2 seconds. Change side and do the same, lifting left shoulder. Do 3 sets.
  • Reverse Crunches: Lie on your back with your hands straight as shown in the video. Pull your knees towards your chest and hold for 2 seconds. Slowly go back. Repeat 10 times and do 3 sets.
  • Bicycle Crunches: Support your head with fingers as in the video. Lift right shoulder and bring right elbow near left knee. Go back and change sides. Repeat 20 times and do 3 rounds.
  • Burpees Workout: Stand straight with your hands up. Change positions as shown in the video from left to right. At the end of the cycle, jump fast in the air with your hands up. Repeat this 10 times.
  • Side Plank: Hold your body straight as in the image for 1 minute. Change the side and do 3 sets.
  • Abs Roller: Hold the Abs roller with your hands as in position 1 in the image. Roll keeping your arms straight and stop for a while in position 2. Come back and do 3 sets.
  • Drink plenty of water. Eat non-greasy and non-spicy meals. Reduce sugar and salt intake.
  • Eat fat-burning foods like raw garlic, raw ginger, onions, Cayenne pepper, cabbage, and tomato.
  • Don't skip breakfast. Take 4 or 5 light meals instead of 3 heavy meals.
